At Lavendon Primary school we recognise the importance of science in our everyday lives and as a core subject within the primary curriculum. 

Our Science curriculum strives to foster and develop our pupils’ curiosity in the subject, whilst preparing them for life in an increasingly scientific world. 

Science at Lavendon encompasses the acquisition of progressive knowledge and vocabulary within biology, chemistry and physics and also develops scientific enquiry skills across all year groups. 

We expect our Science curriculum to sustain pupils’ natural curiosity so that they are eager to learn the subject content as well as develop the necessary investigative skills; fostering a life-long interest in Science.
